  • As a partner, we do not receive development or management fees.
  • SurgCenter shares income with you and your local surgeon owners through monthly distributions that are allocated based on each partner’s ownership interest in the ASC.
  • Financial success of the Surgery Center is enhanced by SurgCenter Development’s ongoing participation in streamlined operating systems resulting in a high level of patient satisfaction and a positive work environment created for you and your staff.
  • Surgeons who become partners in your ASC will work with one of the principal owners of SurgCenter Development to design the structure of the group and facilities.
  • The comprehensive resources and expertise of SurgCenter Development will be available to you, the Board of Managers, and the Nurse Administrator to ensure the ASC operates effectively and professionally.

SurgCenter Development actively participates on the Board of Managers and is available anytime on a consultative basis when the Nurse Administrator or the Board of Managers requests their assistance. SurgCenter Development does not charge fees for this consultative service.

Tenet closes $1.1B surgery center deal

Dallas-based Tenet paid $1.1 billion to acquire SurgCenter Development's ownership interests in 86 ambulatory surgery centers and related services, the company said in a Dec. 22 news release. USPI has offered to acquire a portion of equity interests in the ASCs from physician owners for $250 million.
