Originally founded as a company town for the manufacturing of lead crystal glass in the late 1800’s, it now has a high-growth bedroom community for the southern edge of the greater St. Louis metropolitan area.

Twin Cities Surgery Center, a multi-specialty facility, is strategically placed in Festus/Crystal City, Missouri. The Twin Cities area was chosen for the location of SurgCenter Development's newest surgery center due to its location with easy access to the Highway 55 corridor connecting you to the teaching hospitals in St. Louis, and the community hospitals located nearby. Twin Cities Surgery Center is scheduled to open November 2006.

This ultramodern facility is located at 1101 West Gannon Drive, Festus, Missouri. The space encompasses 4,975 square feet and includes 2 ORs, 1 treatment room, and an 8-bed pre/post operative area.

The surgery center is equipped to provide same-day surgeries for adults and children in the specialties of Orthopedics, Podiatry, ENT, Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology, Urology, OB-GYN, Plastic and General Surgery.
